Meet Jandie Smith Turner

Jandie Smith Turner has over 25 years of business management and golf expertise. After a lengthy career as a management consultant, providing business advisory services to help Fortune 500 companies run more effectively and efficiently, she decided to pursue her passion, golf. In 2003, she launched Acuity Sports, a full-service sports marketing entity that provides golf event planning and management services, leadership development and team building through golf, and business golf advisory and consulting services.

Over the years, Acuity Sports has grown into a full-service event management firm that designs, delivers and delights world-class clients with first class events. Some of her clients include the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC), National Association of Black Accountants (NABA), Global Oak Capital Markets, and Exelon Corporation.

In 2005, Mrs. Turner founded Taking Golf After School, an at school, after school junior golf enrichment program that “takes golf to the children” and teaches math and reading skills while learning to play the sport of golf.

Mrs. Turner is married to Eli Turner and the proud mother of two sons, Elijah and Aaron. She delights in both of her sons’ avid interests in sports. Her passion for her family and golf leaves little spare time for her long-time interests in world travel.

Mrs. Turner has become a sought-after speaker on the topic of business golf and how to leverage golf to enhance the business bottom line.

Today, Mrs. Turner realizes the positive impact the game of golf has had on her life, her financial goals, and her family. She is on a mission to share her knowledge of building a business in the golf industry with others who want to do the same. Specifically, she has a personal goal to help at least 500 people become entrepreneurs in the golf industry by 2025.

EDUCATION AND ASSOCIATIONS

Mrs. Turner holds two degrees from the University of Virginia, a B.S. in Systems Engineering and a MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business.
